a mate just bought an old one from amain dealer against my advice, engine went bang seems the head gasket had been masticked on at some stage they offerd to pay for half the repair as they said they sold it in good faith repair done month later bottom end gone bang dealer no longer interested he is now scrapping it

yes, the old X-Trails are mechanically very unstable, thing it's down to bad inferior quality of parts Turbos always seem to go

Tbh,i would have persevered with the truck.More so because it was a project truck.and not a every day vehicle,needed everyday.

Nope, hav always considered selling it, spoke about getting s Volvo ages ago. Or a LDV. Finally desided I want rid of it, running or not. Got a nice big pay cheque come through finally so can afford to weight it in if I can't sell or get the turd going just going to fill it with scrap metal laying about to bump up the waight:sly
