Nice one, I have just bought a Model power boat hull as a project and a 35Mhz transmitter ( too many channels for a boat but it was cheap enough ) just saving up for a 30cc petrol 4Hp motor for it now:thumb2

Normally get this in some back street pubs, from behind rain coats...
Or Del boy from a suit case.

4 horse power...
that is the size of our spare back up engine on our boat.
30cc produces 4 hp, wow, what fuel is that then, it won't be bio will it:nenau
Very nice, I dabbled in some nitro rc cars and a electric 4x4 crawler. Got a new plane but too scared to fly it after crashing my last. Want to turn it into a FPV plane in the future.
I've got a serious bargain on the cards on some 4x4 related kit. Not yet finalised though!

Wow now that is a nice engine, proper spark plug.
I once built a Kiel-craft boat when I was only 16, along time ago, I fitted a small diesel engine, with water cooling, but I could never start it except with an electric drill, then it had 2 speeds very very fast, or barely tickover, nothing in between.
I have still got all the bits, and the boat, but no RC equipment, however in my attempts to start the engine, I actually bent the crank shaft, so ruined it.
My family have grown up and I am expecting my first grandson soon, so it might be a project for retirement.
Wow... during my whole working life.... I never touched it, apart to move it from one loft to another... how sad is that.:nenau
There must be a moral to this story.
Don't do today.... that you can put off till tomorrow springs to mind:doh
Just been too busy I guess, home to run, family to bring up, cars to maintain and a boat, so no time for anything else.

What rpm do these things run at on idle, also, what sort of price do they go for?
