My grandad is 82 and still does all his car maintenance...age is just a number to him, very active man is my grandad
I agree age is just a number i prefer the number 69.Nothing age related though.
The fact is.These products are on the market for a reason.And that reason is to assist people that cannot perform some of the task that more able bodied folk are able to do.And tbh i dont think we should mock these products or the people that use them.

Electric Jack

Looks a good tool. Having tried to jack up one of my previous cars a Vauxhall Carlton with the jack provided it was useless. As you got to the point where the wheel was almost off the ground you could not wind the handle anymore without hitting the door panel unless you were on level concrete or it dug into the tarmac and reached the end of its thread.

Its the sort of thing I will buy when I am less able bodied or reach 75 ish.

I would prefer it to be a bit less electric scissor jack in design and a bit more bottle jack style. I expect there will be several variations on the theme.
