well got my new Ebay purchase home and well pleased with it, £410.00, wants two front wings and a bit of welding but leather seats all spanking, cd changer good tyres, tow bar, bull bar (will be selling), bonnet thingy, (will be selling) side steps do not like but missus does, so just maybe sort it out and sell the current missus motor a same but 2.4 petrol motor, next few days will decide, Rick

Sorry had loads of work today, bonnet thingy will go to highest bidder it fits with two spring clips over sticky protective tape so when I remove it there will be no holes in the bonnet I am relieved to say, Rick

It's yours... now remember this is a club, and we don't take to Welchers kindly....
Personally, I think you could have ordered one from the USA for less.

Rick,
I was talking to Kevin the other day about these guards, and he said there are 2 bonnets on the T2, a straight one, and one that follows the head lights and dips down in the middle....
Which one is yours?

engine bay, it has recently had, new exhaust, new rad, new clutch, newish battery, newish starter, it has ABS (good for wifey as it will be her car), roof rails, side steps (rattle), air con, tow bar, alloys, reasonable tyres except spare, leather interior, I would say good condition for 120 k miles, cd multi changer, (again good for wifey, I do not have a sound box in mine) so for a day or two welding think I got a bargain.
Question, do I have to SORN it before I get the V5 or do I wait till it arrives, it is all far too complicated now, Rick

Its a minefield now.You are supposed to do it straight away but if you do they will reject it saying you are not the registered keeper.Up until couple of months ago i used to wait until the logbook arrived then do it on internet no problem. Its now changed again and last coulple ive done it wouldnt let me do it on internet or by phone had to send v890 which they say is available from post office only problem is the post office doesnt keep them anymore.I would wait until logbook comes then try and do on internet then if that fails do by post.I do lots of cars never had fine yet.Good luck

Thanks for that, I don't think I have ever seen one of those in real life. You can see the WD21 in that one more though.

Well I got three of em, my first off roader with the red stripes on the bonnet, still in the shed slowly being robbed of bits, a LWB scrapper also in the shed and the one in the pic current use vehicle, and now three round head light jobbies, the new TDi, Maggs petrol, and the TDi off roader SWB, think I must like Terrano's, Rick

Me too, so there's a few left running!
Rick, check the front body mounts behind the bumper/inner wing flaps - Mine has some nasty tinworm there, as has Ryan's. If you do have a bit of rot there, would appreciate seeing some pics of how you weld it up too. Craig.
