Southall, London? Do you remember an Indian restaurant there used to be called Sagoo and Takker?

sorry to be the bearer of bad news , but .... if you continue to drive on public roads without insurance and not in accordance with your licence ...... you may be banned before you've even got a licence ...... not to mention your mums car will be seized .

but good luck with the lessons

it really pisses me off that I get hammered for insurance costs because of my health issues , and people are driving around illegally as though it doesn't matter .

Indeed, annoys me too, that's why I done it about twice.... on the background.... at night....where theirs no cars to crash into...and no police...and not even for a mile:rolleyes:

Won't be a good defence in court, if you get caught she'll get done too! Like already been said, just one copper or a minor bump and your screwed.

Yup, well, I'm hoping to get my Hyundai back soon, so I can drive more then quarter of a mile to a feild:lol

Legally:sly

But in the meantime, I'll just have to use the Vauxhall, mum usually drives out to the feild so I can drive the Meriva about in their, but not at night

Just remember, you can't learn how to "drive" on a country road or in a field, you just learn how to operate a vehicle. There's a difference.

Keep it safe and legal for everyone's sake. :D

im not young enough to know everything , but unless the laws in Scotland are different to the england , the simple fact is you are willingly breaking the law , and should expect to suffer the full force of the law .

whatever reasons / excuses you give .

if the only way to get to the field is by drivingly illegally on a public road .... then don't do it ...... simples , is it so urgent that it cant wait until a qualified and legal driver can take you ? .

the fact that you can do " tricks " with the car doesn't prove you can drive .

when your instructor advised more practise they didn't mean illegally ..... or if they did then they should lose their licence too .

saying its only a quarter of a mile is irrelevant .... its illegal

im trying to help you ryan ..... don't become a victim

I know,

Just now I get around by either mum, Zenka or ny bike, but zenka can't drive the Meriva to the field at night, also mum and dad Dont want to go out at 11 pm

I'm not saying I always drive, but sometimes you have to do things as you've got no choice, legal or not

That's why I want my Hyundai back so I can 'practice' pas my test and drive to the field legally:thumbs

But you will still need someone who has had their license for over 3 years and is over 21.

I'm not going to say how stupid it is, as I have done some stupid stuff and still do. But there's a difference I don't post about it on a public forum... :doh

so you're the only car on that road, late at night ? then driving round in a field pulling 'stunts' in your mums family car. the police will never notice you. :doh
weren't you slagging your dad off last year for abusing your terrano ? bet he wasn't doing j turns in it.

where i drive in the field is away from the road, so the only way to tell theirs something going off on the 'private' field, if you were the police rolling past, you'd have to stop, turn your car off and get out to hear anything the Meriva is a quiate car

also, 'unlike the terrano' the meriva isnt actually getting abused, the grass is slippy, therefore, the transmission and drive train isnt really getting any stress

i'm not towing stupid waights, nor running a vehicle with no water in it

ohh and i didn't steal the meriva, like dad did with my terrano

96terrano

i'm just ending this conversation here as i don't pay £10 to take crap from people, yeah, ok, i drove on a public road twice, i know it's illegal, and i dont advise doing it, didn't know people would get so emotional over it:eek:

after all, we cant be all Mr and Mrs perfect:rolleyes::rolleyes:

and i wouldn't be surprised if some of you have done the same once in your life
