1996 Ford Maverick 2.7td
125k on chassis
Had new engine, receipt to prove.
11 month MOT and 4 month tax
Modifications include
2 inch lift springs with 1inch spacer block.
1 inch body lift
Torsion bars wound up to match
All arches cut and welded to take bigger tyres.
Heavy duty steering - bought from make it fit
Front winch bumper (no winch)
External roll cage
Pick up conversion on rear.
Box section sills which are super heavy duty and high lift jackable.
33" general grabber mud terrain tyres on big offset wheels.
Home made snorkel all sealed and water tight.
New parts just fitted are: glow plugs, water pump, upper and lower ball joints.
The front hubs have been welded locked
All in all this is a very capable truck, it comes from factory with a limited slip diff in back axle.
Bad bits
As its a off roader the body isnt the best. Its rot free but has lots of dents and scrapes.
There is a large crack in the windscreen and a hole in the exhaust on the flexi.
I think the turbo is on its way out as truck has started smoking a little so ive priced it at what i think it should be sold for.
Im wanting £1200ovno for the truck as it is.
I have lots of parts which i will include for an additional price including spare head, lots of engine components, pair of auto locking hubs, air box with filter and possibly a spare diesel pump.
