well, i have came to the conclusion that the lsd from the rear of a terrano will not fit the front
why??
well here's why
they are completely different shapes for a start
front diff has a removable inspection plate whereas the rear one doesnt, you have to completely remove it from the axle to access the innards
the outputs going to the half-shafts are different lengths, on the front the diffs right output is longer as it goes under the engine, the diff sits to the left of the vehicle whereas the rear diff is centered, so is symmetrical
also the half shafts are completely different, they are enclosed on the rear axle, but on the front, you can clearly see them
on this note, they just wont fit
