Get a dry powder or foam one....you need a lot of water on a car fire.
Even with 500 gallons on a fire engine, we can struggle some times

On a similar vein to this, how many people carry a First Aid Kit and what does it consist of?

I have one in both vehicles, it's only a small kit but a well stocked kit by St John's. Even carry a mouth guard for resus if ever needed.

We have one in each car, if ever you travel to France, you must have one, plus a hi vis jacket for ALL the people in the vehicle.

So who carries a hi vis jacket too?:nenau

We have two in each car, they are only hi vis vests, and roll up to about the size of a pair of socks,
best regards,

Rustic

I carry a High Vis Jacket and a wee fire extinguisher together with my main toolkit and a few other bits and bobs. Must admit it is now at the point where I don't go to the tractor shed/workshop for tools, just the back of the Troll :augie

I think it's come from being used to carrying tools/lifting chains/ratchet straps etc in the cab of the tractor - the thought of not being prepared brings me out in a cold sweat :nenau

It's to the Troll's credit that even with the stuff in the boot I've still got at least 80/90% of the boot space left!

I don't have a first aid kit though, which must be sorted, although I'm sure I've got some ibuprofen in the glove box... does that count??
