as soon as my pups are gone and im not stuck in the house I will be going wales I think:clap
obviously I would like to use my truck a bit while im away.
im just looking at strata florida:o it looks like theres a lot of fun to be had there.
i dont think I would tackle it alone for fear of getting stuck but it looks a popular place and I may try to tag along with someone.
anyone been?

I drive strata on my own. Its easy unless its been heavy rain.
Not done strata myself, but last time I was out over Welshpool way the lads said its crap unless its rained so we didn't do it

Yeah ha :naughty
I'd be interested in organising a laning trip & leading a group for a weekend on some of the best lanes mid/west wales has to offer.
I'll only run a group of 6 vehicles max.
Would be interested in people who would like to come? Thinking late june or in july.
I could also help anybody in finding places to stay or camp/caravan etc
Lanes would be: Strata florida & golf-links or nant-y-moch and the other day either happy valley or brechfa. All lanes can be done in standard trucks. But ideally minimum all-terrain tyres.
No need for any recovery equipment as I have it all.

Was meant to be going up to the Highlands with the ex before I finished it so have need of a replacement trip!
(Will still go up to the Highlands and tour about on my own at some point but would love a chance to go laning!:naughty)
Troll hasn't had anything else done to it yet bar the ATs.
Got a 3 hour offroad lesson in your own vehicle for my birthday (from my ex funnily enough) so would aim to have done that before letting myself loose in Wales! :lol

always rains eveywhere in uk.
I will organise it after my trip away, I will be back in the UK on the 5th. I guess it all depends on when it's best for me and everyone else.

We are going to be over in Pembrokeshire for a chunk of June, so depending on what dates, and how far it would be from us, we would be interested in a play on one of the days. Will only have road going tyres on though, as we will have been towing the caravan, and I want to use the road ones up, so I can put some AT's on before the next lot of winter gets here. :lol
Road tyres would be fine for all lanes, unless it's really wet. But I can see me organising it for early july.
Sounds a bit tame tbh ... :D
It's greenlaning not a pay and play ;)
All about picking your line.
