Been doing this a while, first I thought it was just good luck but it turns out its just a fact, I can buy terrano parts and have them shipped from Poland cheaper than buying the part in the UK! I needed a few parts and I got them from a breaker over their that was willing to ship, and with the postage and part price, I saved £7.27

Started as a school friend of mine who is polish regularly goes over their and she said there's a lit of terrano over their as they get imported into Poland, so, I guessed there'd be a high parts list, and their is, so parts are cheaper :D, she's even brought back parts so I didn't have to pay postage, I had them sent to her polish address...well, the family member she stays with over their, work really well :D

Makes you wonder what other countries will work out cheaper from

Thank God for Google translate :lol

without wanting to cast a personal slight on your friend, a lot of cars make there way to foreign shores without there owners knowledge only to be broken up for parts. the vw air cooled scene is riddled with theft and resale from outside there homes, i would ask for ID of original car being broken to end this exportation.
as i started, no offence to your pal, buyer beware etc, its a vicious circle.

Interesting is the way to discribe it, its kinda funny that as when Zenka 'my polish friend' moved over and joined our school I spoken to her in Scottish, had absolutely no idea what I said:lol:lol but she's learned English... And terrano part names now ....that's the most important:naughty

alot of waiting time and hassle for £7 saving. Anyway if you know the right people you get them cheap anyway or free.

Aye, that's why I have 2 trucks for parts, but they are scrap metal now as all the worthy parts have been taken, got my eye on a lwb tdi maverick tho, 35 miles away, used as farm vehicle as body is rotten
