Hello there all, after having finally found a Nissan owners site that is not the other side of the world here goes.Been out in SW France for 11yrs now,had one 4.2 Patrol(ex has still got that!),one Mk1 Shogun and currently got a lhd 2.8 GR Y60.I have been looking for various parts to keep my old girl rejuvenated(1992) but parts over here are either very expensive or hard to come by.Had to have fuel pump rebuilt at a cost of 1300 euros, now head has got to be repaired, found a place in Cornwall that will do this at a reasonable price so can't wait for it to be back and running so I can rumble round the countryside again!Havn't been able to find any greenlaning or 4x4 clubs here(I am a novice) although have had to go to some remote semi-rough places to work.Would look forward to hearing from other Y60 owners(or others) especially if you have/know decent 2nd hand sources.Voila a bientot!:thumbs

Welcome aboard, we got a few members on here with trol's so I reckon you'll be just fine. Plenty advice and banter on here:thumb2 you might even be lucky and find a link to a manual for it too.

Thanks for the welcome, have been having a look through posts etc to see if there's anything that helps.Managed to track down a 2nd hand Aussie manual online, for the 4.2 but still other stuff that helps. The garage I use,the owner competes in the Dakar when his wife lets him so is pretty resourceful, but the overriding problem here in France is car/parts costs so looking in the UK is much better value(even helping him get the head for a French Pajero sorted in UK!).
Come on don't be shy Patrol owners!

Welcome :D

I am a fellow Troll owner but mine is a bit younger (2004).

Only been on here since mid March myself but already very glad I joined... and not just because I've found a whole load of others who like 4x4 porn! :naughty
