Are there any members in this trade or can advise on supply and or fitting/laying.
I have an area of our garden about 20 square metres under some swings and looking
for an all weather safe surface. In past had grass and bark.
Was looking at astroturf and rubber beneath but suspects costs are up there with
rubber tiles. Have searched web and ebay, prices seem to vary and it doesnt seem
all rubber tiles are suitable for protection for kids falls.

thanks but dont fancy chippings, can see kids kicking them about, and into the
adjacent trampoline pit. Whilst our dogs don't use the area theres always chance
could try to eat them.

Bare ground and plasters. Kids are meant to have skinned knees.
Wicksteed, the play ground manufacturers and suppliers, of Northampton actually make the material, it is made from recycled car tyres, and it is rolled out like tar macadam.
But, I don't know if they sell or install, but they would know a man who can.
It does feel strange to walk on though.

Please do not wrap kids in bubble wrap they will suffocate, seriously it was not what nature intended, fall off something it hurts, will not do it again, that is the best learning curve for all kids, Rick

Joking apart, my primary school used to have soft outdoor floor tiles, hard to explain what they were like, but they were like a rubberized tarmac tile, very soft and bendy
