Botox. :nenau:nenau
:lol:lol:lol
With all my aches and pains these days I could do with a new body too...
It may not be that difficult to put a newer body on to a good chassis.
A body lift goes a long way towards the effort, then you need to disconnect the steering, radiator, electrics, ( quite a few to find though) brake lines, fuel filler, clutch line, fuel lines, bumpers etc then when the body is off you can de- rust the chassis.
I guess it might be time to find a newer less rotten vehicle, and keep the older one as a donor.:nenau
How bad is the rust?

Actually, I just looked at the pictures of your body, terminal case I woud have thought.
How could it have got this bad since the last MOT?
From what I saw there were a dozen areas that would each cause a failure on their own.:doh
Wow and I was worried about a rusted seam on my diesel tank:doh
You are very brave tackling such a project, has it been crossing a salty causeway?
A friend of mine said his wife accidentally reversed their Terrano into the sea in Scotland, whilst launching their boat, the ECU even got flooded, so I guess this Terrano is well rotted by now.
As far as I am aware, it was a Green LWB, not a blue SWB.
Good luck,

Rustic

I guess it gets to a point that for the sake of safety it can be time to give up and start again. If you managed to get a newer body shell would that need your existing chassis number or it's own newer chassis number?
I guess it'll be cheaper and easier to just have a newer vehicle though lol.

Thers no way it could of got that bad since the mot was only end of mach & this stuff crumbles if you look at it, but I have been wanting to 1. do a body lift & 2. get the chassis blasted & waxoyl'd so I guess heres my chance. :thumb2 ......just need to find another car to get about in...:doh
