Thus far, I'm very impressed! This is my first Nissan (unless you count the A-plate Bluebird I owned for about 2 hours about 20 years ago!)

And a new set of boots! Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent set of all terrains? It's a daily driver too, so I can't put anything too aggressive on it. I had Federal ATs on my Freelander & they never let me down, even ploughing through a foot or so of snow

In the past on my Suzuki's, I liked the Generals AT's and got good road going mileage out of them as well.

Currently I have Good Year Wranglers on both Terranos, The less aggressive road ones on the T2, Which had no problems on the Pay and Play day, but when they need changing, I will look at prices, and probably go for General AT's

I have Wrangler AT/R's on the T1, but not had a chance to try them off road yet, seem good on the road though.

If you're after new boots, try Falken A/T, they're superb for a mix of road and moderate off-road.

Yep! The 'S' & 'D' are far too close together on this stupid keyboard, and I'm far too stupid to notice the mistake without help :o

It doesn't look too bad underneath at all, to be honest. It's done virtually nothing, even to the extent that the door straps were dry through lack of use. The service book, however, has been faithfully stamped, with the last full service being only 4000 miles back. And the dealer I bought her from has given her an oil service, as well as replacing the centre exhaust section, a stabiliser bar thingummywotsitmebob at the front, and a couple of balljoints. Going to sortout having the underside waxed this weekend :thumb2

No worries there! We live on a farm, so even getting to & from the main road can be a mission sometimes. And any vehicle we ever own ALWAYS ends up blinkin' manky! :eek:

At least you are getting it protected underneath, well worth putting a hose pipe in between the front wings..when you open the front doors look towards the front wheels, this is a place where shite will sit and rust through.
Also worth removing the front mud guards and cleaning this area out now and again. When your having the car waxed, get them to inject plenty into the sill areas. :thumb2

Foxys was very tidy underneath when I bought her (just a month back) and is only just on 70,000 miles but I do fancy getting her done - better safe than sorry!

That's where these trucks will rust along with other areas, try removing your front mud flaps and having a gander, mine was full of mud, it's now nice and clean and well waxed
