Here's my 1993 Lwb TD42 which I've owned for about 3 months.
I'm slowly working through it as a project. So far put new springs on and polybushed the rear trailing arms, new wheels and tyres, resprayed satin black, made the light bar up, new stereo and a cat 1 alarm. Done a full service and a few other things too.
My previous motor was a D40 Navara running a good few mods and 230bhp.

Thanks for the comments.
I'm not sure about turbocharging it at the moment. I've turned up the fuel and it goes much better than when I got it. It must have been set very emission friendly originally because I've never owned a diesel that black smoked as little as this did. I could turn it up a bit more because I only get a little smoke when opening it up, but I do quite a few miles to and from work and I don't want to make it too thirsty. For a n/a diesel it's pretty good really. I might make up an exhaust that flows a bit better.
I know it's a Cyprus market vehicle but I don't know if it was ever in Cyprus or it was just imported straight to the UK, certainly looking at the V5 it's spent some time abroad and I think it may have been to Australia for a while, it's only done about 120000 km and has 43 stamps in the service history hence the good condition. I had to repair a few dents and a little rust on the rear bumpers and one wheelarch but the chassis is excellent.
I had a 3" full system made up last year which has helped a little and sounds bloody awsome:sly:D

i like the extended roof, is that custom made or a Nissan fit?

I've spent quite a bit of time over the years working on/building motors, ex independent Land rover mechanic, landy owner, Skyline owner and general petrolhead etc so I've made many exhaust systems up and right now I might just take out the massive silencer and put in a straight through box.
The high roof model was never sold officially in the UK but there are many in Japan and elsewhere, they're called Safari models. The high roof is a bit marmite and when I was looking for a Patrol, I didn't have much choice. I did a 500 mile round trip to get this one and though I wasn't entirely sure about the high roof, I really like it now and the extra room inside is good. The lightbar really helps with the look and kind of "eases" the look of the high roof, especially from the front.
