People say if you aggressively drop a clutch, you can spin up the drive wheels and make a awesome smoke show
That's Bolox, when a attempted to drop a clutch, I ended up damaging the clutch, and I had a trip to hospital with multiple bone fractures in my foot....dropping a clutch is painful and not worth doing.
youre not supposed to drop the clutch ON your foot Ryan...:lol
Some thing that is stationary, like the rear wheels, axle, drive shaft, transfer box, gear box, vs something that is revving at a couple of thousand revs, with a potential of 100 hp, which suddenly engages with each other, hmmm..... something broke...
Does that really surprise you:nenau:nenau
I know a test for a slipping clutch is similar, but not as aggressive, and your supposed to be in a higher gear anyway.
The shock load on the engine bearings and the primary gear shaft in the box :doh
Now remind me...
I remember from your earlier posts that you blamed your Dad for abusing your motor, following this post I am not so sure.:nenau:nenau

Sounds to me like you dropped the pressure plate on your foot, can't see how you could hurt your foot letting the pedal go, Rick

I think he was being Ironic... as in "dropping a clutch on his foot"...
Well, that is how I read it, and laughed... if he is being serious, then that long hair is over heating his brain...:lol:lol

Next he will be telling us, he was riding the clutch, but slipped off, and caught his B*ll*% on the cross bar.... And ended up in Hospital with a nurse massaging them for him... Or was that my dream...:lol:lol
