They've been made to fit round the back of their AGA and will have glass splash backs fitted on top of them. Then the LEDs will shine up through the glass

I hope :augie:D

Yep do my own fab work except on granite. Festool too bloody expensive for me. I'm old skool router and hoover :thumbs
See here a recent bathroom I did without festool :lol
All inframe stuff and marble shower splashbacks etc

Wow. What can I say the pictures speak for themselves

Did you make the shaker doors and bath panel ?

makeitfit
14-01-2013, 00:21
Nah, I get them made for me and do all the onsite stuff. Basic panel is made then I graft it all together. Curved skirts etc cut n fitted on site. Marble work templated then I do all the fiddly bits and get paid :sly

Spot on mate :)

I get some stuff from magnet/howdens but I have just this year started fabbing a lot more myself. I get vinyl wrapped chip board cut into rips of 580 and edged on one side, then I make carcasses from that. I get all my doors made to size from vinyl wrapped mdf etc and I fab lg Himacs and Hanex as well as the usual composites/laminate/hardwood etc

Seem to do more bedrooms now tho, but its very hit and miss of late, quiet time of year for me

Can't be doing with all that Magnet/Howdens shite, move up the ladder a few runs mate. premium products for discerning clients :sly They're still around and you get more time to make more money :thumb2
I do about one kitchen a month but they're good earners :naughty
If I get the odd fit in the mean time then quids in :clap

Ha ha, yes BA components ,"top o' the mornin' to ya' :lol
Good company to be fair but Apex are better and bigger choice and more flexible than BA especially on specials :thumbs
Not used Hi macs but I guess it's the same as Encore and Mia etc . I usually sell up to granite though, keep it simple mate ;0

Loving the lights:D
Could you use these in a ingelnook?
Thinking i could put some up near the register plate if they are ok with heat
Its a wood burner in the ingelnook not a open fire by the way

It's a bit of an experiment really this one. there's a hell of a lot of heat round that aga
I'll see tomorrow if it's all melted or still working :nenau
LED strips are cheap enough for a bit of bling. Just look on fleabay I use these guys for custom stuff http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281001389841?var=580147855631&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 but there's plenty of others doing the same stuff off the shelf

Here's a quick vid I did of the led s that survived the intense heat the aga has chucked :) They're not all working the same as when they went in mind :lol random colour action now, I told the customer this was an extra feature :sly
