Hi all sad times. Well its finally time to part with mav. Shes two owners from new thats me and ford. Has a1 bodywork and i local guy has offered me £500 as an off road toy project. If anyone o here can match or beat and complete by tuesday ie cash shes yours. I really think its worth alot more and would be a great car or a greatbreaker if somone has time.

Hi maverick is two owners from new metlic black swb 2.7 diesel it is the face lift version 2.7 intercooled with the chrome round headlights. The car was great but since being laidup has developed an engine fault but ibelieve this is fuel or electrical has in my time had new clutch exhaust brakes(inc discs) cranksensor. I have been the second owner and originally went tofords for service but once warranty had run out i serviced it and just before laid up it had a major service ie all oils dif,gearbox,engine etc.

stick it on ebay mate.....this time of year they are goin for good money i just paid more than that for my SWB 1994 mav....

Cheers for advice but local bloke wants it and said he be around sunday monday. Just put it out there on here cos i thought it would do someone a good turn for what i think is little money. Like you said for this sort of money its a genuine car on a r reg plate and to my knowledge no rust spots etc and certainly not the usual crap thats listed on e bay. Seen loads for about this or more but in reality there old dogs on closer inspection. With regards to pics and ebay, not to good with computers (or putting photos,songs etc). Anyway if anyone is interested pm me asap but iether way it must be gone by tuesday.

Local guy aint having it said he didnt realise it was the later intercooled version and was worried that it was a lot more electrical stuff on it and so didnt turn up. Another day wasted, so this really does have to be gone by tues.

There are a few on ebay all at the higher teens price wise

No problem in getting £500 on Flebay. parts are woth abount £1500 of any ones money.
