View Full Version : last post date
Hi All,-
not sure if its me but why is the last post date for everyone on all forums the same? Is ther a setting or something that i need to alter to rectify?
Thanks Wayne
Are you saying that every post is the same post time how ever far you go back?.
Mav.
i can't see the problem, can you please expalin in greater detail and poss some links to the problem area for me to check,
thanks rob
Hi Mav and Shark1e,
yes thats exactly what im getting, on the screen showing "Topics, Replies, Author, Views, Last post, all the dates for last post are the same, whatever forum and no matter how far back i go. Makes it very difficult to know just how old posts are, and if its worth posting a reply against it. Weird i know.
Wayne

Hi
i have clicked on the link you sent to me and all the dates show in the last post section are 08.05.25, as i have said in my previous post.
please advise
thanks wayne
open your internet options in control panel and delete cookies, history and temporary internet files, you may be looking at cached pages,
it has to be a local issue on your pc as i can't replicate the problem and no one else has reported it.
let me know how you get on after cleaning the above,
thanks rob
Hi Rob;-
Bit of a baffler this one aint it. Done what you said with cookies and temporary internet files etc but still the same. Tried it today from my work PC, and was exactly the same as at home. Sorry to be a pain.
WAYNE
what internet browser are you using on home and work?
what internet provider at home and work?
do you know how to do a screen print and send me the image of what you are actually seeing please.
cheers rob
Hi Rob,
using sky at home, not sure about work, just log on the network.
As far as doing a screen print and sending it to you, not really sure myself how to do that, However my son is better with PCs than me, so ill get him to do it the weekend.
thanks Wayne
Hi Rob, forgot the browser- its Internet Explorer 7.
only other option i can think of is for me to login as you and make sure it's not your account that has a glitch,
pm me your password as we don't know anyone password, i can reset it and login as you then would have to send you the new password,
let me know.
thanks rob
just a thought can you send me a link from your internet explorer address bar to the page where the issue is visible, i want to check it again please.
