Nice looking trol , How much did it set you back? I was looking for one but they are just so expensive.

Nearly 2.5K, they are coming down now with the price of fuel, folk are going for vitara size if they actually need 4 wheel drive at all.
I was originally looking at defenders, but any decent ones were silly money and still had a poor heater.
I've got this for garden work and a trailer, then once done it's going to be my shooting truck.
The MOT is for another 6 months with advisory on brake pipes, which I'll be changing to stainless, maybe in the cab. Wheel bearing play, which will get changed if it gets louder than the tyre road noise.
I had a look at aircon and fan belts, timing belt, idle pulley, tensioner pulley, filter kit, sump plug washer, All less than 90 quid. So the bearing kits were only £32 each so might get all that done before MOT time.
TBH I think the bearings will still pass, they're not that bad.
So, a wee bit of getting the hands dirty and she'll run for a few years yet.

Rabbit's, Ducks, Pigeons with the shotgun.
Foxes, Deer and Rabbit's with the rifle.
Most of My shooting is up in Scotland, but trying to get my cabinet and some land down here.
The Pigeons over Warrington way are huge, nobody seems to shoot that much round here though. Maybe I've just not found them.
Thanks.

I'm going to go stainless pipes, just wondering how much of a ballache/benefit it would be in running them in the cab.
I'm not going to be extreme off-roading/Rocky so stainless should last a while on the outside.
whats wrong with copper?
I just seen the price.........I'm going copper, you could replace them ten times.

Go half way and cupro nickel. Much stronger than copper and much cheaper than stainless :thumb2 http://www.nissan4x4ownersclub.com/forum/showpost.php?p=184430&postcount=13

That looks better stuff.
Any idea how much I'd need and how many/what sort of ends I'll need?

One coil did my truck easily but I'm not familiar with your modern version. Old skool is easy , have you got ABS etc ?
Get yourself a flaring kit and away you go. My fittings were 11mm af , which I think is the 3/16 size :augie
copper & stainless both work harden so not as good as people think for brakes ,cupri nickel(cunifer 10 ? when I used to do anything with them) doesnt so is much better long term :thumb2
.......... the fuel pipes - particularly where comes out of tank. Mine had small hole and was diagnose by French garage as fuel pump issue. Zoot alor - but that's anther story. Also ear in mind that they are prone to rot underneath. I have experianced this -n and check the excellent thread by Flying Torquewrench.
