just a quick one why do you have a 10 minit time limit on editing posts on the forum i find it a pain in the bum some times and is it really needed ??? i dont think there is any need to limit the time to edit your own post
I think 10 mins is enough, saves people editing their posts after loads of time or days have passed.
Whats wrong with 10 mins?

I try not to edit posts, cos in the inteviening period several members may have already read it, then my edited post replaces it, confusion, Rick

I can see a reason for it, it is more for when there is some kind of dispute or argument, It would be easy for one party to go back and alter things and thereby change their involvement in the whole thing before a mod got to sort out what was going on. Thankfully, that sort of thing rarely happens :thumb2

dispute or argument its a 4x4 forum not a debate forum can not say i ever find any reson to have a dispute or argument on this or any other 4x4 forum im a member off
as for pm a member of staff to change it for me if it comes to that i just leave it be as its just messing about for all concerned never mind its your forum so your the boss its just in (my opinion) i dont think there is any need to have the limit on editing your own post :thumb2

And as a result of decisions that must have been hard to make, this forum continues to be a great and safe place to air your views, opinions and concerns :thumb2
