There is also the download section which guides you on how to do common fixes.
You get what you take from the forum. Yes alot of other forums are free. But theres lots of info on here.

Number 1..... I aint complaining! Its a great place to be if you have a Terrano or Nissan 4wd.
I appreciate your quotes, helps other to see how helpful this site is.
But, I didnt get any acknowledgment of either payment nor did I get a sticker!

I see what you mean, an email to tell you you have joined would be nice. But as you say "it's a great forum" and that is what the £10 a year is for. Running costs plus a small profit against a fairly large investment for the owner of the club :thumb2

It is an interesting question. Who actually gets the money and what do they do with it?
I'm certainly not complaining. I've more than had my tenner's worth.

Out of the £10 paid by you guys:-
Paypal take about 50p, Tax and NI contributions nick another 30'ish%, minus server costs etc
So I guess I end up with about £6.
What do I do with it..... well this weekend I have been away at a bike event, I brought a bottle of Jack Daniels, 3 cheese burgers, 2 Pork loin meals served with rice and mushroom sauce, camping fees + a few cokes.... probably spent £125 in all :augie :thumb2
you did WHAT? what about world peace? starving children?:augie

Well fine dining and libations aside, I still think that I have had far in excess of £10.00 worth of value from the site. A simple piece of advice such as how to get a repeater indicator out recently is proof of this. I could have tried levering it out, which would have undoubtedly broken it, and cost considerably more.
Did Bat21 tell me how to do this? No, but he did buy, and maintain the website where the info could be shared. He obviously requires recompense for this, which is a commercially acceptable arrangement.
Just my opinion of course.

ok point taken i got the depimal point in the wrong place ( no £ sign sterling in front of the number means that the whole number is in pence and after the point is 100th of a penny 2.737p multiplyied by 365 and a quater of a day .25 equals 999.689p so thats almost £10
