Welcome to both of you, then.

The T2 can suffer from rot, but if patched up they are marvellous pieces of reliable kit.

i took it for its pre MOT and he is a kind of a friend i did some welding work while i was there for him so the car could passed its mot the next day. any ways its rottern to its core he said :eek:after i did the welding he showed me the rust underneath the fule pipes the inside the bonnet the seals at the back where you have the steps and also a thing called the track rod control.

he quoted to get the welding done and all the parts 500 to 800 max including labour costs as well. I THOUUGHT :cool:cooler head is needed i can get everything including metal for less than 100 quid.

if thats possible any one what yah think oh i brought this baby for 400 is it worth it ????? or should i keep it and get anouther one
