think there was snow late into spring in 1976,
which of course was a record breaker for heat
in its summer.
have heard of quote snow in june though does
sound far fetched, mind was trying to snow in
the week before easter this year

The latest snow storms recorded fell across Britain in early June, as far south as Surrey. The Derbyshire v Lancashire cricket match at Buxton was cancelled due to snow.
ok buxton is high in peak district, but june.....
We just keep getting hailstones!
Not May yet, :augie:augie
:lol:lol
May is here and we got some snow at the bottom end of Cannock Chase today.
Lots of hail, thunder and lightning, 1/2" of snow, still on the ground at the moment.
So the forecast was right.
Makes a change.
