i remember the old chevette used to drive in the van version must admit wasnt as quick as that motor , nicely controlled too looks like he,s done that few times very good:clap

same here though would like to collect some of the cars I had in past,
or the sportier versions,

ie mk 2 ford escort rs2000, mg maestro, ford sierra xr4x4....

its amazing nearly every car in the past ive sold you end up regretting........ a beetle jeans very rare only gave £200 back then 1972 early reliant bond bug fetching a fortune now & countless motorbikes but ive grown to 4x4 love terrano nw

yeah e let a '63 morris minor go for £200 in 1984 as a trade in for a more
practical mk 2 ford escort estate.

had been in family from almost new, spent fortune few years before on
a restoration, unfortunately by cowboys. was lovely old thing, even
learnt to drive in it on cough private roads but wasnt upto motorway
trips. few years later would have made my first car too, think i spent
about 250 on another scabby escort estate as mum had bought an
automatic maestro. so no good for passing test in.

i remember scabby motors one of my first a datsun only had the bloody rust trap 3 weeks it then needed a test..... yeah failed bad rust rot everywhere:doh died first intruduction to driving

always fancied one dad in law had 4 door 1256cc 1.3?

neighbour had hatch, dont think as factory 2.3HS but
was modding towards one..
