We have about an inch or so in Leicester at the moment and snowing quite hard....I dare say there'll be all sorts of mayhem on the roads tomorrow.
Went down to Reading today, from Staffordshire, just got back, good job we took the Mav, the M40 and M42 also the M6 toll were down to 1 lane for most of the return trip, and 40 mph was the maximum speed, you couldn't see the lane markings, but it was one wide snow covered lane:naughty.
Certainly my front hubs were working and we overtook dozens of cars not prepared for the weather on the hills.:thumb2
Fuel is on the credit card, :doh:doh

We got 2 inches here and it is still falling, looks like we will all be playing in the morning, happy days, but for now I will just stick a couple more logs on the wood burner and sweat a little more, Rick

at last ! Snow ! now the maverick will come into it's own.
Oh hold on what's this ? A text message at 3am ? Work cancelled ? Don't bother coming in ? Don't get up at 230 on a sunday morning? Don't buy a 4wd specifically so you can get to work when it snows ? Don't spend hundreds getting it ready for the bad weather ? Bastards.
Where's that landranger map ?

not exactly, but I did get offered some work clearing snowing in Brighton with a JCB 3cx. If it'd been closer I might have said yes. Maybe I'll do the snow plough ticket next.......

got about an inch of snow lastnight which has frozen. Had to go out lastnight and it took me ages to find enough to use 4wd and that was only low box because it was a slippery road downhill.
Was supposed to be on a RAYNET event at a 10k run this morning but it was cancelled lastnight. now the wife says I can go shopping with her instead:doh
