Just wondering where the best Place would be to get a error code reader. My mate has one with all the bells and whistles £650 worth:eek::eek: and I was thinking it'll be a good thing to have. Just a cheap one under £25 if possible. Plus I do a lot of auto electrics work:thumb2

Here you go http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Consult-Diagnostic-Interface-Cable-14-Pin-OBD-/270903496072?pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item3f131b4d88
Then download ecutalk it's free and works a treat:thumbs
You'll need a usb to serial converter unless your slap top's got a serial port.

would that work on a 1999 T2?If so, where can you download the Software for it from, and does it work on Vista based systems?

1 little problem,:augie it's not for my t2, it's more for our other cars. My t2 doesn't have a technical ecu that stores codes.:doh
