Groundhog

For ten years I had the Skoda Octavia during which time I had 2 punctures and putting the spare on was a doddle.
I've had the Maverick less than 6 months and already got a flat.
So I pulled in to a convenient place, located the bottle jack, handle and wheel brace, I then removed the spare wheel cover (breaking the elastic cord in the process) revealing a shiny new pirelli. The process of changing began.
Having finally changed the wheel, it took me twice as long to get the ruddy flat one back onto the door, the wheel was too heavy and my varifocals kept slipping down my nose so the holes appeared in the wrong place, much to my shame a passer by did it for me.
Sure sign of old age kicking in.
