A good friend of mine has a problem!

His elderly step mother has died and he is left with the task of re homing her faithful border collie bitch (quite a mature dog) who has always enjoyed a good life in rural Shropshire.

He can't keep the dog as he has work commitments that mean he doesn't have enough time.

He is prepared to meet reasonable vets bills for the dog for the rest of it's life! The dog is, and as far as I know always has been, in good health.

If anyone is able to help send me a PM and I will pass on contact details.

Thanks in advance:thumb2

What a shame, I hope this story ends with a happy ever after.
Good luck to your friend

I'd love to help too but already have a rescue here,
Try an appeal on the local BBC radio station, always getting good results down here.
