Bit naughty that, wasn't your car written off? if so surely the seller should have stated that?
seems to me insurance company kept it and sold it on nice and cheap I bet....cant see how that's right if its been wrote off, unless its now cat c? doesn't say that tho....
you dont have to mention if a vehicle is cat c, its for the buyer to ask unfortunatly..
i think it will say so on the logbook

The problem is, that the new owner will probably search the net to find our club to help him solve some problems in the future, as not all the damage would have been repaired.:eek::eek:
We can then tell him what he has got...:doh
As long as he doesn't call himself Briggie2, there is only one Briggie.:thumb2:thumb2
And one is more than enough. :lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

Jeepers! I was close to placing a bid on that one, myself! Very glad I didn't, after seeing this thread...
Another falsehood in their poorly-written/mis-spelt message was their claim of "fixed prices"...so, why's it in auction, then? Durrrrr!
What damage has it got then, Briggie? Why was it written off?

Cat C doesn't count , it's only a numbers game to the insurance co.

I wrote mine off 18 months ago and bought it back off the ins co. Nothing on log book and two mots later still going strong :thumbs

Suggest you report him/the listing to ebay Briggie. Tell them the car was a write off. He's a dealer so I beleive he has a legal obligation to declare it.
god his feedback is awful. Also the listing, change of fonts, colour etc is nasty
i think clivvy took some pics of it after it had been " repaired :augie "
they are in a thread someone
piccies of sally after it had been repaired below

It's worse than that, I think there is clear evidence of shill bidding.
There is a bidder a***n with feed back of (46) that has bid on every car he has sold, the only car he "won" he was allowed to retract the bid by the seller, leaving a high bid to buy the car.:eek:
Maybe Ebay should investigate this.
A Mondeo, a Frontera, a Terrano, the shill bidder didn't need either of these.....:doh:doh

read the blokes feedback, anyone bidding on a car from him needs their head looking at. he is the sort of tw@t that ruins ebay and peoples trust

Good work Rustic, obvious shill bidding.
Obvious back street dealer. I don't why Ebay allow people to run car sales businesses on there without declaring themselves as a business seller.

Well simply ebay get their money any which way.
I also reckon it's a given that shill bidding happens all the time, it's just the name of the game. As usual it's buyer be alert :thumb2

Once again I shrug my shoulders at the whole business of selling cars. I just don't know why so many people turn into lying cheating thieving lying barstewards as soon as they put a car up for sale.
Ebay member winningjay is the offending shill bidder in this case. I'll email Ebay for you Briggie.

perhaps should by a spel cheka wid da profitz, lal !
Hi guys, what is shill bidding:confused:
What they do is get a friend, or use another ebay account to put a bid in, in an attempt to get someone else to increase their bid. If the "Friend" actually wins it, by bidding too high, then often the bid is retracted and is then offered to the 2nd highest bidder, if it doesn't reach the minimum price, then he re-lists it. Often with a phrase like.... due to a time waster, this is offered for sale again. Keeps the ebay fees down as well.
Often sellers try to hide their dealings by stating you must have a minimum feed back score, otherwise the bids will be cancelled. They try to give the impression that they are a reputable site and won't take messing about.....:doh:doh
Ebay are aware of these dealings BUT I guess they need to be shown that it is going on, before they will take action.

totally. you gotta get in there and play the game. its fraught with scamming MF's and you have to be on your guard, especially with cars.
I simply will NOT entertain any car add unless it has the full on description, max amount of pics and excellent feedback, otherwise its a waste of time.
