Had the bumpers made, the wheels as well, not another set like it ! spent a lot of money on this, when it was on ebay and sold for only £1700 in May of this year, as a running vehicle, with new gearbox, the guy drove it home and thats when it cooked its box, so gave him his money back and started the battle of getting it fixed, if I can get some money from the twats that fitted it then im near where I it sold for in the first place. How can I expect to get anymore than a grand, no one was prepared to pay more than £1700 in full working order

Its funny, ive had more interest in it as spares or repair than i did as it running, took it of ebay saying its sold for £1000 and everyone is saying I would have paid more, dont make sense to me. £1700 was not a lot of money for this car in PERFECT working order !

Probably because your post was the first some of us had seen and the people in this club understand the true value of such a vehicle. I hadn't seen your previous posts until I searched for them via your profile.

Dont be too disheartened cus ive sold many a car and then had people say they wud have paid more even though they were aware i was selling. I know there are peeps on here that know true value of our trucks but ur average joe doesn't want to know especially in the current climate.
Have u got or intend to get another Troll/Terrano?

No, I fear my days of off reading are at an end, having owned 6 g wagons, 2 patrols, 2 range rovers, Suzuki, and 3 land rovers, as you say, with the climate, and my finances just can't afford such a luxury anymore :(
