Took my Mav for a quick ride down Rob Lane and a few others in the area. Nothing spectacular but it was ok:thumb2

got to ask where abouts is this rob lane, only in derby and new to this green laning stuff, dont want rocks and boulders just yet:nono, bit of a chicken, but i do know notts quite well,

There's some good easy lanes around the carsington and Hartington area of derbyshire no real need for 4wd but interesting
Let me know if interested might be able to sort a run out or send u the memory map overlay

defo weekends, although at moment no cb, and only got road tyres, so i was sort of waiting for the ground to dry out a bit, but defo up for that,
family allowed too:o

Right should be no trouble sorting out a weekend
Should be fine on road tyres and without a cb as will sort out a couple of others that will have cbs and keep u in middle
Will also be fine with family had done route before all easy lanes that will show u parts of the peaks not often seen
Will also stick to fine weather no snow

u will have no probs as both kamsin and spud drive t2 and mav on standad tyres and had no probs

i crossed the boarder from sheffield but now stomp round the crookied spire (chesterfield)

oh just wondered,
with your location saying derbyshire, and knowing the area.

looking forward to this weekend now, few things i want explaining to me,
cb talk
map reading,
what sort of maps ect,

cant wait, hopefully its a dry weekend, and a few come out.

loads of tame lanes for the beginner out there, and you will be surprised what ya truck can do even with road tyres, myself, buzz and kamsin go out regular in the peaks and both myself and kamsin only have road tyres and have both done roych clough, there are plent of pics for this run on another forum, i didn't post them on here as not allowed to until i pay for renewal of membership, must get around to doing that lol

meatball day arranged on 5 feb start meeting point is carsington waters visitior centre at 1000 am
