Hi Kathy and welcome from an ex-south-easter (Brentwood). It's nice to have some female input into the club. Hope you enjoy the fun here and that we can help out with any problems.

welcome to the club and dont let ricks modesty put you off, he works magic!
Thanks for you welcome messages. Im in Henfield and dont worry I wont let anyone put me off! :) My poor car is in need of some TLC but hopefully I can get things that need replacing done one thing at a time.. on that note my passenger side air vent has fallen to pieces and I would like to get a replacement for the gaping hole! Where is the best place to get one second hand? Ive tried Ebay but cant see anything... Its one that has the wood effect surround.
Hi and welcome
You could try Nissan 1st they are in welshpool or Thorntons both are breakers and will post parts to you.

I spent a whole saturday afternoon rebuilding the passenger air vent/louvre thing. So if all the bits are there then they are repairable. I just don't let anyone touch it now, cos its fragile :) Very fiddly, time consuming and patience testing. You may think lifes just to short to bother though.
Welcome to the club

Hi Alan, unfortunately some of the pieces have been lost, so its a replacement job thats needed!
Plus one thing that really niggles me is that the clock light has stopped working and Im dont know if its something I can get to.. need to check the manual :)

Funny you should mention, we've been talking dash bulbs elsewhere on the forum over the last week. Definately a DIY job if you are confident with a screwdriver! If you get stuck I'll strip mine out and post some pics as my clock bulb has gone too! Keep meaning to do it and remind myself when it's too dark to see :doh
Hi, I'm Nick by the way. Welcome to the madhouse!:o

Cool if you could post a few pics, as I find it useful to see what I should be looking at.

Alan, I searched the glove box and it does all seem to be there but I cant see how Im gonna keep all the bits in place and attach it to the other piece inside.. Will I need to take some of the panel away to get my hand around the back of it??
