Too expensive, I drain my lawn mower and my outboard at the end of the season, and if I have fuel left over from last season, I usually dilute it 1/3 old 2/3 new.

That's the problem having diesel cars, I can't use up the old fuel.

Having said that, my Briggs and Stratton engine on the lawn mower runs on anything, 3 year old fuel, 2 stroke fuel left over from the spare engine.

I now even recycle the outboard engine oil into the lawn mower, The engine oill had only done 100 hours.

Yet I still manage to get another season out of it.
It's over 18 years old now.

Just got a picture in my head of someone at tesco's filling gallon tubs up. Bit like when Dell boy was doing the Peckham Spring water from his kitchen tap :lol

The crap people believe and buy amazes me :lol

I always leave petrol in my 38 Yr old Briggs Stratton engine so I can run it from time to time through the winter. David.
