Fitted a new CB today and have decided
1. It's not working
2. No one else in the St Albans area has a CB
3. No one wants to talk to me

yea that is CB only works reliably for a mile or so many times if that but good for laneing with your buddies, Rick
Item 2 is your most likely solution
my assumption above assumes that you have correctly connected an aerial and power ( and switched it on lol )
get as high as you can up a mountain then try.

Would Snowdon do ;O)
Would Snowdon do ;O)
yup that would do lol
Would Snowdon do ;O)
So that's what the driver of the Frontera was doing..... testing his cb. :augie
If he had told the authorities that he may have got off with a caution. :doh
A couple of months ago I drove down to Oxford with my old cb radio lashed up, I thought mine was broken but once and only once, I got a response to:
" 19 for a Roger"
"Roger bud" came the reply.
If you tried that call on the internet you would have had a different response, I'm sure.....
So I think the CB is dead, bring back the licence, then everyone will use theirs illegally. :thumb2
or ...... take your foundation amatuer radio exam :naughty
