Terranical

I recently had to replace the drivers door window regulator in my '94 T2. After pricing up second-hand versus new I decided to go for new, as I have heard of other members having the same problem as I had (the nylon guides and cable mounts going brittle and breaking).
I found several on eBay, however all but one would not post to Spain, which is where my Terrano is. The one that would was Electric Windows Direct. The regulator was delivered today, and fitted around 45 mins later, a doddle to fit, thanks to comprehensive instructions.
I was well impressed with the quality, it looks more substantial than the original and is certainly more silent in operation.
The cost was £64.95, with free postage within the UK (I had to pay for Spain obviously).
Anyone considering a used regulator at £30 to £50 plus postage should give these people a look!
I am a happy bunny!
