Hi all I'm just back from the dentist :eek: Somewhere I haven't been for about 25 years :eek::eek:
One of those stupid fobias that's built up over time after my last VERY PAINFUL visit :doh
Any hoo, I've been coaxed into treatment again before I die from blood poisoning or get gangreen of the gums :o
I can't praise her enough even though my heart rate was through the roof :thumbs She managed a few root extractions before I hyperventilated and started to slide off the chair:augie
Any way up, I'd just like to tell everyone that the NHS still do a fantastic job :clap
I hope I don't have to revise that comment once the drugs wear off :naughty

That was the same with me until i got an abcess and didnt sleep for three days and ended up looking like the elephant man course of drugs and tooth out what a relief.Still a bit nervous but put a brave face on for the kids as we all go as a family know:thumbs

Just clean needle and insert :nono
Hurt a bit for a short while but still did that rather than go see a dentist :doh
I've got porridge and brandy for my supper :o

I think she was Polish, but well fit where ever she's from, which helps :D

I once had a dentist drop his drill in my mouth; trouble was he panicked and forgot to take his foot off the pedal......I ended up with 18 stitches which I pulled out myself two weeks later (surprise surprise).

These days I go private and my dentist is called Helga Janssen - you can imagine can't you.:sly She insists on wearing a very tight wight uniform for some reason.:naughty

But like your recent find, she can stick a 3" anaesthetic needle in without me feeling it.

And thats just up my arse! :lol
