really like it, looks well made.

What's the wind noise like when empty at 70 mph ? :nenau

An ordinary bike rack is bad enough.

Just a thought, do you think it needs beefing up around the 4 contact points that attach it to the roof bars, and the cross member to the side bars, only all the weight will try to bend the lower bars of the rack.

75 kg is the maximum weight for the roof, but when braking or going over speed humps, it could exceed this load.

yes but I am sure thats why max load is 75kg. It could probably handle more if you never braked or went over speed bumps.

The roofrails are also known as gaybars for that reason LOL.

Just get a set of Thule roofbars....Ive carried weight that would make your hair curl on those with no problem.

hi all , well ive done 50mph and there wasent any noise , at higher speed i dont know , but anything you put on your roof is going to create drag, there are 6 contact points not 4, there is a welded bar in the middle that clamps down on the roof rails , the other four are close to a welded cross member, and the bars are thule. this rack i made for my truck as ive stated i can make whatever you want, thanks for your comments .
