I thought the best thing to do is to join this club, as you guyes know all there is to know about these tugs. I am a retired sevice engineer & traveled 50k a yr for yrs & never had time to stop & enjoy the beuitifull places I visited. so when I retired I bought a caravan, 2yrs down the road now have my terrano.
I bouhgt it to tug my caravan wherever I want to go in all wheather and conditions without getting in trouble.
My pride & joy is a 3.0 sve auto of 2002 vintage with 80,600 mls on the clock with FSH, which I feel is V/ important.there are a couple of isues like aircon not cooling and nearsid front track need attention which I will get sorted soon .I will keep you posted!!!
welcome to the club, loads of friendly help, advice and banter on here, and the yearly membership fee will save you £100's in repair bills
HI mate and welcome to the club. Sounds like you are having a great time exploring, I plan to do the same when I fix our little caravan up!
As for your terrano, they are great 4x4's, I have a Maverick, and I love it to bits now (not litterally, that would be messy). Like any other car, things can go wrong, but i have found with these 4x4s there are very few major issues, and any issues are usually very common, and fixed via advice form this club!! in fact, mine wouldnt be on the road still, if it wasnt for this club and thier great support and advice, so any questions you have, post away and im sure together, we can sort it!
air con. firstly, is the system switching on? if so, but its not cooling enough, then regas/service it. if its not switching on (you should be able to hear the compressor cycle like a fridge, and revs rise) then you either need a regas, or you have a leak somewhere. A common leak area is the air con pipe, connected near the rad (probably covered by some black rubber pipe) its a clip/clamp that rusts away....
best of luck fella!

Hi. Welcome to the club. I bought my first Terrano about 3 week ago and so far I think its great. Parts are fairly reasonable and they are pretty easy to work on. I might not ever drive a Land rover again!!!!!!

Welcome aboard:thumbs
Try changing the pollen filter, if it's blocked you'll have restricted air flow. Check out the downloads section in Quick Links for the guide to change this filter.

Hi, and welcome to the club, I bought my first ( and only) Maverick 16 years ago.... and I still have it.
Enough said.... :thumbs
It has recently passed another MOT on first presentation. :thumbs
Do all the work on it myself, thanks to this club.
I am still confident in how it performs and I have no issues hitching up a 2 tonne boat and driving 250 miles non stop.
Thanks to this club I have fixed problems I didn't know I had.
Preventative maintenence is my philosophy.
Enjoy the club,
best regards,
Rustic

Had a problem with my air con, the pipes to the condenser had rotted through and emptied the system! Turn it off till you find out whats wrong as if you run it without coolant you can wreck the pump. Quickfit are very good and if they cannot improve it by 10% they don't charge.
