http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m98/adam_n_johnson/Dirty%20Devil/53a1050e.jpg
This is now my road & soft green laner :D
Once the Tax, Insurance & M.O.T. run out in May :augie Dirty Frog is going to be Tray Backed & rear winched :naughty
Then going down to VORSA for its SVA :D
Will Dirty Frog be the 1st Tray Backed Road Legal Nissan Terrano :sly
So...
By the end of the year...
I'm hoping to have Dirty Frog road legal & used for Wales & Pay'n'Play day's / weekend's as it will be on 35's or 37's, Tray Backed, Rear Winched & caged :sly :naughty :D
Dirty Devil will be sitting on 30's with an external snorkel & front winch :sly :naughty :D
I will put all of the picys up here with the progress as & when :thumbs
Looks like a tidy motor.
I'd be interested to see pics of the tray back build, proper oz style. ;)

Go for it Adz, I dont know anything about them so education is appreciated :D
Whats the advantage of the tray backs? (other than no room for the kids) :D

I've never really understood the benefits of the trayback either:nenau
Appart from obviously much lighter weight( which I think is a Disadvantage at the back) there would be more room for big tyres/articulation etc :thumbs
BUT it's the front that's always the prob with these trucks.
I still think the best big mod would be to do a live front axle conversion:D
Keep the back on for traction weight and space for your sandwiches:cool:
what about this one on the bay.

is that a "tray back" or does that clock in as a pick up :confused::confused:
In the lack of further info id tend to go with pete. You need somewhere to chuck odds and ends but there must be some advantage to them :nenau i genuinely dont know.
