makeitfit came over to mine today, had a quick excursion up a mountain and then a free play in the old mine area near me.
Weather was great, views were also as always great.

Only a couple of hours but we still had to get the winch out :sly
Seems that Daved was hogging all the sheep so we went home early :p

nice views lads oh to have a mountain on my door step the old pit tip near me has been grassed over and paths made so you cant get vehicles on it any more
nice to walk dogs around though:clap

give us a shout, can go over hound kirk and into derbyshire, ok not mountains but
pretty big hills and moors, where you can feel like you're alone in the world!

Thanks for the comments guys, Was a great day. Most of the lane was easy as it's been so dry.
You all should all make a trip down mid west wales before fuel goes even higher. make a weekend of it. :thumbs

I've been trying to get people to for the past 2 years & have now given up mate as its a waste of time :( "Nellie" :bow is the only person other than my self who seems prepared to travel for the best off roading :sly :naughty :thumbs
Thats why my "off road ventures" are now posted on www.fourwheeldriveclub.com :clap :bow as that is what there site is all about :D

will bear that in mind defo want to try and get out this year just got to get it through mot next month so will give you a shout sold my old disco last year that was used and abused on pay and play sites and camping trips so miss geting out i am only in Doncaster so not too far away:thumbs

we are hoping to drag the tin tent to a site we found last year when we had a shufty around Wales its right on the beach near Aberdaron i think missis knows is this any where near you?

nope, quite a distance in terms of road miles.
im right in the middle. nearest town to me is aberystwyth or tregaron (thats if you can call it a town). :D
