when are they in season, as we have one regular that steels our bird seed, and would love to pop it, Rick
i forget the exact dates but i belive august 12th is the date the pheasent of grouse ( forget which one ) comes in to season and the other not long after and it ends about feb time.. if its just 1 id nack it anyway..

just waiting for it to move around to a better position as the houses are blocking the view due to the moon being pretty low.
this ones not too bad, had trouble stopping the camera from focussing on the tree branches..

we just went out into the hills, and its just clouds. cant even see it:(
I can see it, but it's misty - so just a whitish blob.

I missed the moon last night - covered in mist, just a white blob. It's cloudy today, too :(
This is the only photo I've ever taken of the moon ...... handheld with a Pentax K200D camera and a (nearly) 50 year old Tamron 400mm f7.5 T2 mount lens.
