Looking to use these guys (https://www.myhermes.co.uk/wps/portal/PN_CTR/c1/jY3dUoMwEEafpQ_AZCdAiJeh0jGkWmlp-LlhMhUrECDV2tq3N72yN6K7Vzvn-_agEtkd1KnZq2MzDkqjHJWk2lIuMb9zYcXwAjhNaBwzbE-wvLjhdCs8wG6yvo8iDOAFf7Szq2-6f-XwyzBATw9jX6MClcHPF1hKAM59Efk0tjGMUpSDV23aixHp5iiW uyBpL2cjOleG57HznVqalZIkeiX6qzBhuNbxYZcR50Xp-cecPTvk0cBs2sPJ_z01kU06aKE607x5-pD2i8_TkJnkne2Zy1lorKuYdJk-h9ZTjqr47BvfgA9z/dl2/d1/L2dNQSEvUUd3QlFnISEvWUJwNDF3ISEvNl9VOElWMkk5MzBPQT JGMEk4UThKSkEyMzAwMy83X1U4SVYySTkzMDBMVjAwSUk1S0U1 OEowMDAy/?content=Our%20Prices#7_U8IV2I9300LV00II5KE58J0002 NOANCHOR) for parcel delivery for shop/website stuff.....they are cheap and cheerful and seem to get good reviews. Just wondered if anyone had experience of them? In fact they look to be useful for a lot of people.....
Probably going to end up doing a parcel run with our own van once a week in a 150 mile radius or so and we've found a couple of suppliers who will ship direct under our name....but most won't - I mean why is it so difficult to get people to step up to the plate on customer service? No wonder the country is in the toilet :(

ive used them a few times via Parcel2Go, always on time, always polite, cheap and they do the job, at least they have for me, so no complaints! ONLY thing that bugged me, was that I couldnt track my parcel online (just didnt recognise my consignment number), so check that out before making a final decision.

That is a very interesting link, I have often looked for a good service for smaller parcels. The problem i have found with all couriers is that they don't like to compensate when they break stuff. There standard defence is "you wrapped it" but fortunately it doesn't happen very often. :thumb2

there is a long list of 'excluded' items that they ship but won't insure, obvious stuff like glass, mirrors etc.. but the feedback looks extremely good so I'm going to have some LOL:thumbs
Thats two of my threads today that have cheered you up LOL :D

When I used to send out ultra delicate stuff I took loads of pics at the wrapping stage. Kept on customers file till order completed. Safe as :thumbs

when i took delivery of some parcels this week (tools for my new job)
i chatted to the driver for quite a while . he is based i think in llanelli
anyway you can if you send around a hundred parcels a month up to 25 kg for less than 3 quid each . but you need them to have someone with a franchise your area, and sadly the firm who he worked for dont go much further north than me.
plenty do that service or similar but its a case of ringing around all the web sites to see if they will, or have a franchise in your area
for the saw jims terrano and briggie helped me with (thank you again chaps ) i tried parcel 2 go it cam in at £19.00 ish for 90x 50 x 50 cm at 20kg
so tried http://www.interparcel.com/ economy , collected same day if booked by 13.00 hrs and got it next day via u p s . cost me a little over £7.00.
i guess if you ring them and explain your situation you could open an account and id expect to be aiming at around £5.00 for that size if regular
hope this helps
