i can't imagine anyone actually using a shower inside a caravan, does it happen?

We use ours on the boat, quite small, but there are very few showers by the riverside, unlike caravan sites.
We also have about 30 gallons of water on board, and a Paloma water heater.
Edit..
And it's easy to get rid of the waste water too....

We use our caravan shower as a store room. We keep the awning in when not in use:)

We usually use the site showers when we are away, but have used the caravan shower (Burstner S500TS) without problem if the site showers are not so good. It works fine. The caravan is nice and warm - shower blocks rarely are in winter.

We've no qualms at all about using the van shower. The first time we ever took the Burstner away, it was in February in North Wales. It snowed on and off for most of the week. Three of us showered in the caravan every morning with no problem at all. The biggest hassle was refilling the water and emptying the waste.

well, I said I was tempted with the 'midget' caravan but today - on an impulse - I bought a 25 feet by 8 feet twin Axel mobile office, with desk, filing cabinets etc. etc.

I have to collect in the morning, question is, WTF am i going to do with it? :nenau

suggestions anyone?

in answer to the last two posts:

That's exactly where it's going in the morning. It is odd in that it has large sections of clear polycarbonate in the walls so you can see right through it. I plan to leave the door unlocked and all the draws and cabinets open! so no point breaking in!

But how will those secretaries get and privacy? or any work done?

You'll chuckle at this Plank...wifey (who has called me the p-word for the last 16 years) ordered these venetian mirrors on the left hand side of the pic, saying they were probably hideous but someone would buy 'em. Now they've arrived and I've stuck them on the wall she's fallen in love with them :doh

Funny thing is, she's a redhead and her maiden name is Cassidy....neither does she know what 'ironic' means :lol

lota van for your money there bet its heavy!

i would guess between 2.6 and 3 tonnes, and the friction caused by the three axles must be huge! I have never owned or towed a tri-axle trailer but i can't see how it's a good idea, must be for looks more than anything :augie

Thomas-the-Terrano2
23-02-2011, 23:33
yeah second roma type seen, assunming isnt same one....

prev said was custom built. that more than normal custom
to have expense of another axle and brake gear though.

plenty of yank trailers are on 3 axles both draw bar types
like airstreams around the 34 foot shipping length and
of course fifth wheels often upto around 40 foot.

thinks seen a home made caravan on an ifor tri axle too.

hey Lac, how about Planks trailer as a mobile show room ?

(RIP) PLANK
23-02-2011, 23:35

I think it's Ifor, but a potential buyer has suggested it is 'Peak' maybe even a bit of both! To be fair the top makes it too good to turn into a flat bed, it is much better in real life than in the photos. I have already had a fee interesting enquiries :thumb2
