Brother in law buys cars from recievers and bought 20 vauxhalls from one unseen for £7000,one was a 8mth old lotus senater could not get insurance for it so sold it for racing for £9000 .not a bad job if you have spare cash and somewhere to put them.

always fancied one of those big arsed senators so popular wih police few years
back. would have made one of best saloon tugs i reckon
3 litre 6 cyl 24 valve oh yeah.
I remember them as i was doing my training for vauxhall at the time. They where blooming quick motors but lost a lot of value when they brought out the turbo calibra a yr or so later and the owners of them carltons where trading them in for them
them 3.0 24v senetors bloody quick i had one yrs ago ex police from auction bloody quick, lotus carlton is pure motoring porn 6cyl twin turbos, used to be one in leamingon he had two alarms on it!
A sadly almost forgotten legend. :bow to the lotus carlton:thumb2
me and my 16yr old had the cosworth v carlton argument about 6mths ago,hed never heard of the lotus carlton and was shocked when he read about them lol

Tis just a wind up you old grump :lol:lol
As said before the web will be where it's at, I used to sell 3 to 400 pound surf boards on line and shift 2 or 3 a week:sly From Cardigan
Get yourself a damn good courier though and hassle the hell out of them on the account terms:thumbs

now therein lies a challenge, all seeming to be much of a muchness (i.e. crap LOL).
MyHermes seems to get decent reviews and probably going to have to use Shiply or uShip for bigger stuff...will be a lot of large mirrors and furniture which is problematic...e.g. just looking for good terms to ship an ornate rococco mirror thats 6' x 4' and frickin heavy to a 'very nice chap' in London....:augie
Plus a lot of them seem to want a fixed minimum contract from Day 1 which isn't favourable with a new web site in a fricking recession :doh

I used to get around 10% damage rate on surf boards. They were all custom spray jobs too so not an easy replacement job . The insurance was all for me to cover the numpty drivers standing on the fragile stuff, or the bad handling at courier hubs:doh
Are there any local man and a van types near you? You could do a weekly delivery service then in a sort of round robin way.
