an old mate of mine (no longer with us) said to me, "i was spending hundreds of £ tuning my mk1 cortina in the 70's at the time". if you want to go fast, buy a fast car. so i did, a jaguar 3.4 mk2.

well that's what he said to me in away, fords spend millions of pounds on development and you come along and change it, tune the engine, what about the brakes, all you could do then was to fit up rated pads. the jag was nice though, and a bit of comfort.:thumb2

:(
After being tugged for no L plates on my motorbike---many years ago ----
guilty-----£2.00 fine (big money then; especially for an apprentice)---my sympathetic Dad said; " Never mind; just remember that for every door that closes, another one shuts".

Not exactly advice, but it made me smile !
