Got one of those tools but you can also just use a bolt and 2 nuts to secure the riv nut.

that would make sense, are they any good ?? as they say better than a self tapper. :thumb2

Not got around to using them, But what I have read they are alot better.

I've used them a fair bit to add extras inside the back of transit vans and I have always found them very good, as long as the bodywork can stand the load you are planning to place on it :thumb2

Same as mine and is useful.
Top tip, don't use stainless rivnuts, they are too hard and will knacker the pliers and dies. If you want rust free use ally instead.
The steel ones are plated and last very well anyway.
