excellent pictures!!! Remind me of my early car years.....first car was a 1966 ford anglia (1200 super, maroon with a cream roof) with a 1500 pre crossflow engine (cortina gt) and gearbox, ford classic capri struts and disc brakes, cortina seats and instruments with a big fat tacho on the dash top :thumb2... It was de chromed and a home made exhaust sytem with a 4 into 2 into 1 header, straight through pipe and a peco rear box. Also had bloody great reverse steel wheels with big tyres plus full 'works' rally wheel arches :clap:clap:clap.... oh and air horns that played a tune lol :lol:lol:lol..... it was the dogs dodahs in 1978 I can tell you.... wish I still had it :(
Maybe a new thread on the subject anyone????

This one's poetry, because it was the only option where I had all of the basics on paper or in docs. The stories are going to take a while longer, judging by the two weeks I lost collating, formatting & proofing a 138 page poetry book. :D
Amazon is still negotiating eBook arrangements with my publisher, but you can get Kindle format as well as most of the other major ebook formats direct from my book page on their site.
http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/38699
Should be worldwide at & via Apple, Sony, Barnes & Noble, Kobe and Amazon by the end of March.
Print copies only available direct from me.

i'd like to go the classic ford tour, but i haven't got a passport, so that has paid to that idea. :doh

I didn't have a passport until I got one :D
You should try it, I drove from Cheshire all the way to Germany and back again. 1200 miles in a weekend in an old 4 door Escort with a 1600 crossflow. The only time I was asked for my passport was at the ferry port to get back into the country. The doors aren't as wide open as you might think.
It is worth doing, quite an adventure, nice folk (usually around 60-70 cars) and there is always pretty good trips out organized while there.
When we went to Ireland we had a police escort from the docks all the way through Dublin and out the other side. All traffic was stopped to let us through, we had the tunnel to ourselves, on the motorway all traffic was stopped while we came through. Police motorbike outriders were waving us to go faster and I was already doing 85 (sat nav speed).
All roundabout traffic was stopped and we just sailed straight through. A privilege normally reserved for presidents and visiting dignitaries.
This was rush hour on a Friday
I would say it was probably the coolest experience I have ever had.
