sally went for her m.o.t. this morning :eek:........ and passed without any advisories :clap:clap:clap:thumb2 ...... woohoo
the guy at the garage said she is in very good condition for her age ( the car :augie )...... i think im not going to stop smiling for a long time, while i was there they fitted the brake pads that richio gave me ( yep they fit thanks mate :thumb2 ) , and changed the oil in the rear diff , im mega chuffed :thumb2
oh nearly forgot ... they mended my noisy blower motor too ..... they took the motor apart and found a old shopping reciept had fallen down from the glove box into the motor ...... lovely and quiet now ....... total bill including m.o.t test fee , lsd oil labour etc ? ....... £100

that sounds good to me mate, one thing, are ou sure they used LSD oil? as a lot of garages refues to accept their is a difference!

i have prepared for mine by spending £1.86 on a new wiper blade for the rear screen - sorted :augie
im booking mine in very soon.
im fairly sure it will fail, but we shall see. last year it passed when i thought it would fail so.

Well diesel at out local is around 1.33 so on the way home i bough 6 litres of veg oil at 1.06 so i saved 1.62. The wiper now owes me 24p , it better not let me down! :augie

I will do if i get on with it, i only stopped of a the shop and got a few to give it a go. I have a friend wh runs a big food shop for the Asian community and his prices are allways cheap, i will ask him if he can get me a deal based on his buying power, he has helped me with other stuff.
