I had some of them, bag of shite they were, they now reside in my glove box as spare bulbs

I found them ok to be honest

or was it just the case that my original bulbs were more rubbish than i thought

Fitted xenon to my crappy headlights, didn't make the slightest bit of difference, tried 100w, no difference. cack bulbs or cack headlights ?

Mate of mine did some tests on various headlight bulbs, Xenon Max came out as the brightest by a long way, brighter than some of the much more expensive bulbs.

i have tried most of these bulbs and found the only ones that come up scratch are halfords xenon gassed bulbs, but they cost £24.99 each, but you get what you pay for. :augie

I think they are only naughty if they have "Not for Road Use" or "For Off Road Use Only" stamped on the box or the bulb. A mate of mine is an MOT tester, i will check with him.:naughty

I think the law simply says that they can't be above 55 watts (or a silly colour) other than that i don't think there are any other restrictions.
